Digitization Update

We do not have a date for the completion of the digitization of the Urbana area newspapers.  This project is being done at no cost to us, so paid projects get preferential treatment. When the newspapers are available online or we have further updates, we will be placing notices on this site, so please check back.

Please keep in mind that microfilm of the Urbana area newspapers are available on microfilm in the library's local history room.

You are able to access select Champaign County area newspapers (along with other locations) online through  Chronicling America
