Sight-impaired resources

For those who are sight impaired, the following services are available:

Large print books, both fiction and nonfiction. The new releases are located near the front of the library.

Books on CD or Playaways are available for our patrons.

Talking book machines. For those who qualify, patrons may receive a special tape player and have books on cassettes delivered to their home through the Talking Book Program. Please see Patty for more information concerning this service.

A sight enhancer is located in the Local History Room. This can be used to magnify print materials. Patrons may ask for assistance in using this equipment.
