As part of the Affordable Health Care Act, U.S. citizens and legal residents will be required to have qualifying health coverage by January 1, 2014. In preparation for this, a health care exchange (a place where consumers can purchase subsidized health insurance coverage) will be available on October 1, 2013.

• What Is the Health Insurance Marketplace?, designed for those assisting people with the applications. a new way to find health insurance coverage. With one application, you can see all your options and enroll.
• A new 800 number you can call to get your Marketplace questions answered by a customer service representative, available 24/7: 1-800-318-2596 (TTY: 1-855-889-4325). On calling, you'll be welcomed to the Health Insurance Marketplace and asked to give your state, as some states have state-sponsored marketplaces.

Sign up today for email notification to alert you when an item that you requested has arrived for you or to notify you of overdue items. This is an excellent option for those who regularly check their email. You will also receive a courtesy notice one day prior to your items being due.
If you choose to be notified by email, you will not receive a paper notice for overdue items.
We will continue to call you for reserved items until you notify the library that your emails are being received and you no longer wish to be called.
