Every Hero Has a Story! June 1 to August 1  -  Join us this summer for reading and fun! 

Important Upcoming Events
Monday, June 1: Registration for Summer Reading Club begins
Friday, June 5: Donut Day - Starts at 7:00 am with free donuts from the Friends of the Library
Saturday, June 6: Main Library Summer Reading Kick-Off Party from 11:30 to 1:00 pm
Monday, June 8: North Lewisburg Branch Summer Reading Kick-Off Party from 5:30 to 6:30 pm
Monday, June 15: Begin turning in completed reading logs and slips!

Some of our summer reading programs include Magician Jim Kleefeld, Juggler Mike Himmelgarn, movie matinees, super hero parties, visits from local heroes, and so much more!

Children’s Storytime Sign-Ups

 Registration for Summer Storytimes will be held June 1 through June 13. Storytimes will begin the week of Tuesday, June 16 and go through the week of July 21. There will be NO Main Library storytimes on Tuesday, June 30. Registration is required. 

Baby storytimes are for children ages 6 to 23 months and their parents or caregivers and will be held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.  Toddler sessions are for children ages 24 months to 3 1/2 years of age and their parents or caregivers and will be held on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.  Preschool sessions are for children ages 3 - 5 years of age and will be held on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

North Lewisburg Branch Storytimes

Children and their families are invited to the North Lewisburg Branch Library for storytime  on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm from Monday, June 15 through Monday, July 20. Registration will begin Monday, June 1. There will be no storytime on Monday, June 29.

Book Wizard

Scholastic Book Wizard is a free service provided by Scholastic for finding books on specific levels for Guided Reading, Lexiles, or DRA.   This could be helpful for teachers, students, and parents.
